He loves me. He loves me not. Perhaps he never even saw me.

Every beauty which is seen here by persons of perception resembles more than anything else that celestial source from which we all are come. Michelangelo   Of all the things you can do for another human being, don’t you agree that one of the greatest gifts you can give them is to see them?  Not just look at them, although there is great merit in that (Honestly.  The outfit isn’t going to compliment itself, fellas).  No, seeing someone has less […]

Buttons & Bullseyes

Why is it that some people get such an evil pleasure out of pushing your buttons?  What is that about?  There are those who approach you as if you had a glowing control panel of dials, switches and meters displayed on your chest that directly interface with your heart.  They know full-well the areas or subjects you’re sensitive about and find a way to shove those subjects up to the surface for discussion or public presentation.  Ah!  Emotional guts on […]

XO. Xo. xo – t.

Spellcheck is not my friend.  I’ve decided that I’m tired of it always correcting me, like a little electronic stepmother in the wings, waiting to underline in bright, squiggly screaming red what I shouldn’t say and giving little hints about what I should say.  How annoying is that?   What I’m really tired of, is Spellcheck altering my kisses and hugs at the end of my texts, emails and letters, capitalizing the kiss and keeping the hug all lower case, […]

Car Tunes and Talk.

There is something about a car that allows for the best conversations.  Perhaps it’s being in a confined space, where the forced intimacy draws people closer together or the fact that indirect eye-contact makes it easier to be brave with topics or statements.  Or, maybe it’s just the lack of decent ventilation and all that re-circulated stale air that breaks down a person's defenses.  No matter.  I truly enjoy time spent in a car chatting with someone.   A couple of […]

Those of you who have followed this blog (and I thank you) know that I love my tea time.  Whether iced or hot — conversation and contemplation flow so much better over a glass or mug o' tea.  Chai happens to be one of my favorites.   Tea with T. Katz wants to invite you to the Oregon Chai Twiter Party!  Oregon Chai is celebrating its new 10-ounce canister of The Original™ Chai Tea Latte Mix (#Chaifor10).    Tomorrow, Tuesday August 9th from […]

The Timeline.

My daughter graduated this past June and has spent the summer attending going away parties for her friends who are leaving for far-flung colleges and 18th birthday parties.  My own child turns 18 in a matter of months and it is the end of an unseen ruler that I held out for her years ago.   You see, it has always been my wish that my kids not be in too big a hurry to grow up.  Childhood is such […]
